P105 labelling machine

The P105 labelling machine has been designed to apply security, tamper evident and vignette labels to the top (and or base) of a wide range of products at speeds up to 300 per minute.

Utilising existing accurate labelling head technology the P105 features an enhanced control system incorporating a touchscreen user interface for operation of all machine functions. The Siemens PLC and control software allows up to 500 different products to be recalled from the database for quick set-up times and minimum downtime between product changeovers.

An optional fully integrated inspection and validation system provides the user with a "total integrity" packaging solution. The system is capable of detecting and verifying the presence of a label and will also read and verify 1D, 2D, Datamatrix, and other standard format barcode information. In the event of an incorrect barcode or missing label, the machine's reject system will reject those cartons. All rejects are verified as they are rejected off the production line. In the event of a reject not being verified, the machine will stop and an alarm will sound.

The entire system can also be supplied with full IQ/OQ validation documentation if required.
